As a female entrepreneur, I know that it is so important to have a good coach. A coach can help you to learn and grow in your career or business. I am 1 week into Katie Shea's coaching program, The Impact Experience, and I have already been mindblown by her wisdom, grace, and commitment to seeing others succeed. I am inspired to be a better leader and entrepreneur because of her.
As leaders, we need to be constantly learning and growing. We need someone who can help us to see our blind spots and give us honest feedback. A coach can help us to do this.
So today I am going to share 5 Things I Have Learned from The Impact Experience Coaching Program
1. In order to grow you have to set goals and commit
One of the most important things that I have learned from The Impact Experience Coaching Program is that in order to grow you have to set goals and commit to them. Without setting goals, it is impossible to measure your progress and see the impact that you are making. Additionally, committing to your goals is essential in order to achieve them. If you are not committed, it is easy to become sidetracked or bogged down in other areas of your life.
2. You have to let go of your past
In order to move forward in your life, you have to let go of your past. Holding onto resentment or grudges will only prevent you from growing and achieving your goals. Instead, focus on the present moment and what you can do at this moment to make your future better.
3. You have to recognize and manage your feelings
As a female entrepreneur, it is important to be aware of and manage your feelings. Recognizing when you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed can help you take steps to manage those feelings before they become too much to handle. Additionally, managing your feelings will allow you to stay focused on your goals and maintain a positive outlook toward achieving them.
4. Sometimes you just gotta treat yo self!
One of the best things about being an entrepreneur is that you get to decide how you want to spend your time and energy. This means that sometimes you just need to take a break and treat yourself! Whether it’s getting a massage or taking a day off from work, taking care of yourself is essential in maintaining your well-being as an entrepreneur. (Thanks Katie for always reminding us of that)
5. Don't get ahead of yourself boo boo, shift your perspective, and stay humble!
Finally, one of the most important things that I have learned from The Impact Experience Coaching Program is not to get ahead of myself, to shift my perspective, and stay humble! As an entrepreneur, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget about the bigger picture. However, by shifting my perspective and staying humble, I am able to remember what is truly important in life which helps me maintain a balanced lifestyle.
Overall, I have learned so much from The Impact Experience Coaching Program and this is just week 1 LOL! These five lessons are just a snapshot of what I have taken away from the program but they are some of the most important ones that I think every female entrepreneur should know. Implementing these lessons into my daily life has helped me become a better coach and a more well-rounded person overall. If you are not following Katie, you should! She's got you and so do I!
You got this boo!
