As female entrepreneurs, we are constantly bombarded with messages about who we should be and what we should be doing. We are told that we need to be more like successful women in order to achieve our own success. But the truth is, we each have our own unique talents and abilities that will lead us to our own version of success. So how do you find your purpose as a female entrepreneur? By doing some serious soul-searching, that's how.
1. Define Your Ideal Life
The first step to finding your purpose is to define your ideal life. What does your perfect day look like? What kind of work are you doing? Where are you living? Who are you surrounded by? Spend some time really thinking about what would make you happy and fulfilled. Once you have a clear idea of what your ideal life looks like, you can start taking steps to make it a reality.
2. Get in Touch with Your Values
Your values are those things that are most important to you. They guide your decisions and actions, and ultimately help shape the person you want to be. If you're not sure what your values are, take some time to think about the things that are most important to you. For example, maybe family is important to you or perhaps you value creativity and self-expression. Once you know what your values are, you can start making choices that align with them.
3. Discover Your Passions
What are the things that make your heart sing? What gets you excited and keeps you up at night thinking about it? It's important to pursue work that lights you up so that you can feel passionate and motivated every day. When you're doing work that feels like play, it's not really work at all—and that's when you know you're on the right path.
4. Understand Your Skills and Talents
We all have skills and talents that come naturally to us—things that we can do without even thinking about them. These are the things that come easily to us and that we enjoy doing. When we use our natural talents in our work, it not only feels effortless but also allows us to produce our best work. If you're not sure what your skills and talents are, ask yourself what comes easily to you or what others always come to you for help with. Chances are, whatever it is will be something that you're good at!
5: Find Your Tribe
Surround yourself with people who believe in you and who will support your dreams and goals. These people will lift you up when times get tough and help celebrate your successes with you along the way. When pursuing your purpose feels scary or overwhelming, having a supportive tribe will make all the difference in whether or not you succeed.
Taking the time to figure out who YOU want to be is so important as a female entrepreneur because there are so many voices telling us who we should be instead. By definition finding YOUR purpose means that it will be different than anyone else's which is why it is so important to do some soul-searching to uncover what makes YOU special and what would make YOUR ideal life. It won't be easy but it will definitely be worth it Pursuing YOUR purpose is the best way to create a life and business that you love and I am here to help!
