Preparing for RESACON 2024: Reflections and Inspirations

As I prepare for RESACON 2024, I find myself reflecting on the valuable insights I gained from last year’s conference. It’s incredible to see how those sessions have shaped Boss Babe Creative and enhanced how we serve Home Stagers, Realtors, and Boss Babes (and a few fellas too!).


One of the first speakers I took notes on last year was David Avrin, and his words have stuck with me ever since. He emphasized the importance of the experience people have with you, stating, "The experience people have with you leads to whether or not your company grows." This profound statement made me reconsider how I approach my business and client interactions.

Transforming Services into Experiences

David Avrin's message was clear: we should be offering our clients an experience, not just a service.


Service is the job you do; experience is what they will remember.


This distinction has become a cornerstone of Boss Babe Creative’s philosophy. When clients interact with us, I want them to walk away thinking, "Wow, they are ridiculously easy to work with!"


Reflecting on my journey, this rings true even more a year later. As I am in the eighth month of running my own business, I can see how crucial it is to create memorable experiences for our clients. Last year at this time, I was in an environment that didn’t fully believe in this concept, and it showed. The company was losing clients left and right, and I fully believe it boiled down to the lack of a positive client experience and speaking the wrong language to our clients.


The Impact on Boss Babe Creative

Implementing this experience-focused approach has been transformative for Boss Babe Creative. By focusing on creating exceptional experiences, we have been able to build stronger relationships with our clients and see our business grow. This shift has not only helped us retain clients but also attract new ones who value the personalized and memorable interactions we offer.


I am incredibly grateful for the insights I gained from David Arden and other speakers at RESACON. These lessons have helped me build a business that truly values and prioritizes the client experience. As we gear up for RESACON 2024, I am excited to continue learning and growing from the amazing speakers who will be sharing their wisdom.

Looking Forward to RESACON 2024

I am thrilled to be attending RESACON again this year. The conference is a fantastic opportunity to gain new insights, connect with industry professionals, and continue refining how we serve our clients at Boss Babe Creative. I can’t wait to hear from all the inspiring speakers and bring back more valuable lessons to implement in our business.


To all my fellow Home Stagers, Realtors, and Boss Babes, let’s make the most of RESACON 2024. Let’s focus on creating memorable experiences for our clients and watch our businesses flourish.

Sooo…that’s certainly thought provoking!! An experience icing the cake of service. I will definitely share that with my team and MYSELF!! Sometimes we get so bogged down with “the task, the goal, closing the deal”, we miss the Todd McAllister method of nurturing and the David Avril best practice of creating an experience!! Food for thought! Thanks, Laurie! SEE YOU AT RESACON ‘24!!!!!
