š¶ Cue Nellyā"It's getting hot in herreeeee..." Because listenāVegas in the summer is a whole other beast.

But letās be real: RESACON and Las Vegas Market? Theyāre the highlight of the summer home staging world. I love everything about itābeing surrounded by our industryās best, hearing from powerhouse speakers, soaking in new design trends, and yes... snacking and sipping our way through showroom heaven.
But after 7+ years of planning, facilitating, speaking at staging conferences, and running high-level masterminds, Iāve learned that the realĀ magic of these events isnāt just in whatās presented. Itās in how youĀ show up for you.
So here are a few things I want to encourage you to do before you pack your cutest-but-comfy shoes and head to Vegas:
Make Space Before You Leave
Give yourself some quiet time to sit with your thoughts:
Where am I right now in my businessāmentally, emotionally, and financially?
Whatās working? Whatās not?
Where do I want to be a year from now?
Then write down:
What do I want to learn?
Whatās one major challenge I want to solve?
Who do I hope to connect with?
Youāre not just going for fun (though there will be plenty of that)āyouāre going to grow.
My Must-See Speaker Picks
With so many incredible sessions, itās easy to get overwhelmed. Thatās why you need your personal game plan. Here are a few that caught my eye:
Shane Lorenz ā Google Loves a Well-Staged Website (SEO for Stagers)
Krisztina Bell ā The Collaboration Playbook: Partnering with Agents & Vendors
Marianne Cherico ā From 9ā5 to Staging Queen: How to Transition Confidently
Michelle Lynne ā Maximizing Every Staging Project with Upsells That Work
JokĆ© Durojaiye ā Streamline & Automate to Get Your Time Back
Natalie Lorenz ā Built to Sell: Preparing for a Profitable Exit
Ellen Mann ā How I Run a 7-Figure Biz with One Truck & a Small Team
Mandy Shields ā Grow Without Losing Profit
Tip: Plan ahead and stick to your goalsādonāt get distracted by the shiny stuff. Youāll get more out of it that way.
Donāt Forget to ReflectāDaily
After the sessions end and talked all that you can talk (true story), take 10 minutes at night to write down:
Top 3 takeaways
New ideas that lit a fire in you
Questions or action items for your biz
Youāll thank yourself later.
When You Get HomeāPROCESS
Donāt go straight from the airport to your inbox. Create space to actually digest what you learned.
Download your thoughts
Revisit your goals
Share ideas with your team
Too many stagers come home and hit the ground running without implementing a single thing. Let that not be you this year.
And Now... Vegas Market Tips from Your Favorite Content Queen (Hey, Thatās Me!)
Whether this is your first Market or your tenth, hereās how to make it worth your timeāand get amazing content while youāre at it:
Clean your camera lens ā Seriously. Donāt post blurry pics.
Get content ā Showrooms are GOLD. Take pics. Take video. Talk about trends. Let your audience see you investing in your craft.
Be a thought leader ā Record short videos: āWhy this wouldnāt work for staging,ā or āHow Iād style this in a smaller home.ā
Get inspired ā Snap designs that spark ideas foryour upcoming projects.
Donāt try to do it all ā Pick your top showrooms in advance and pace yourself. Vegas is hot, your feet will hurt, and burnout is real.
One Last Thing...
You are amazing.
What you do is powerful.
Every staging job helps a family move forwardāliterally and emotionally. One is moving on, another is moving up. Thatās legacy-level stuff.
So go boldly. Ask questions. Soak it in.
You already invested in yourself by showing upānow go build something unforgettable.
I am cheering you on and fully expect a hug or a "hey girl, hey" if we cross paths in Vegas!
Now, Go Boldly & Build the Business you Love!

Great reminders.
Excited to see everyone in Vegas!
