There was a moment in my corporate career when I knew…

I wasn’t meant to play small anymore.

On paper, everything looked fine.

But internally? I felt opposition.

Like no matter how much I did, it wasn’t enough.

Like I was shrinking parts of myself to make other people more comfortable.

I started making myself smaller so others could look larger.

And that is an uncomfortable place to live.

Instead of facing it, I tried to be everything to everybody else.

The encourager.

The hype girl.

The helper.

I thought if I helped everyone else find their purpose, maybe I’d feel fulfilled too.

But I didn’t.

The more I ignored it, the louder it became.

This quiet knowing that maybe… just maybe… God had something greater for me.

And as much as I fought it — I knew.

The calling wasn’t to keep building someone else’s vision.

It was to build my own.

To create a business where I could help others build the business they love — without shrinking who they are.

That was the moment everything shifted.

A few frames straight out of my camera from yesterday’s design photoshoot for a stunning home staging company… and whew. The layers. The light. The feeling.

When I photograph staging, I’m not just shooting rooms — I’m capturing energy.

You’ll notice I mix wide, full-frame landscape shots with tight, intentional vignettes. The wide shots ground the viewer. They show flow, layout, proportion. They say, “This is the space.”

But the close-ups?
That’s where the emotion lives.

Shallow depth of field draws your eye exactly where I want it. Soft foreground blur creates intimacy. Side lighting adds dimension and texture so the materials feel touchable.
